Position Details 

Job Description:

Primary Objectives:
As a member of the Sales and Revenue Enterprise FP&A finance team, the senior financial analyst provides modeling and financial analysis to support the US Solutions’ products. Key responsibilities include net sales and revenue forecasting (month end close/forecasting/planning), monthly reporting, collaborating with sub-segment finance partners and other ad-hoc analysis.

Major Areas of Accountability:
• Maintain and update monthly revenue forecasting models for assigned products and complete month-end close tasks (i.e. journal entries, accruals, validation of financial results, etc.)
• Understand and articulate key variances and present monthly financial results to finance manager; identify risks and opportunities to the financial plans and forecasts
• Partnering with Consolidation FP&A team to ensure systems are updated in a timely and accurate manner
• Understand, model, and analyze key business drivers such as customer retention and ancillary revenue to drive overall revenue growth
• Responsible for the annual, mid-year, and latest estimate forecasting processes for net sales and revenue
• Identify and drive process efficiencies including automation opportunities
• Provide analytical and business modeling support for various strategic, analytical and operational projects
• Establish strong business partnerships with sub-segment business partners to provide finance and business leadership, including recommendations to assist with key business decisions and to ensure financial targets are achieved
• Ensure financial information is accurate, and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and company policies and procedures
• Participate in a variety of special projects and ad hoc analysis as requested by management


Qualifications

Education & Experience: 
• Undergraduate degree in finance or accounting required. Graduate degree in management or finance preferred 
• 5-7+ years of experience in financial analysis 
• 3+ years of experience with modeling and forecasting 
Knowledge and Skills: 
• Strong experience in financial analysis, forecasting, and management reporting 
• Experience in complex model development and key driver analysis 
• Prior experience with subscription revenue highly preferred 
• Strong data management and system expertise, including the ability to work with large data sets, databases 
• Ability to interact and influence business leaders in a dynamic business environment, including formal presentations 
• Ability to influence and work with peers within a highly matrixed environment 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Access; working knowledge of Hyperion, SAP and Tableau highly desirable
