The primary function of the Direct Sales Supervisor is to develop, maintain and implement well-organized activities and local sales campaigns to maximize customer growth and retention in our ever-increasing competitive market place. Mentoring and training Direct Sales Associates to insure all sales are installed on a regional level is a key function in this role.
What you will be doing:
Mentor a team of Internal and External Contractors and Channel Partners to become a cohesive unit while increasing productivity to exceed daily/weekly/monthly sales quota.
Conduct and supervise team trainings through a variety of methodologies, including side-by-side selling, webinar trainings and classroom environment for new hires and existing DSA team members.
Participate in weekly market update meetings and provide performance reports and metrics to DSA Manager.
Work with local use customer care, Field Tech and Operations teams to promote and install the sale of newly released products and services.
In coordination with Direct Sales Associates, help prospect and perform direct sales activities for new residential opportunities. Identify gaps in sales process that needing streamlined.
Maintain consistent personal sales levels in the field while simultaneously supporting team member’s sales growth.
Recruit, prospect and train new DSA associates and contractors on a consistent basis.
Supervisor is required to knock door to door for personal sales
Accountable for performance of DSA team (internal + contractors) on new sales volume, penetration % by LCP, multi-service attachment rate, GIG attachment rate and new product attachment rate (Wi-Fi extenders, streaming TV, etc.).
Other responsibilities as assigned by the DSA Manager and Director of Sales to improve sales performance and monthly KPI’s.
This position requires a team leader approach to improve overall sales performance in addition to being an individual contributor for their own sales.
Bachelor’s degree preferred in Sales/Marketing, Communications, or Business, or equivalent experience.
2 - 4 years of relevant sales and marketing experience.
Door to Door sales experience
Highly effective verbal and written communication skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
Knowledge of Direct Sales practices in telecommunications or related industry.
1 – 2 years of sales management experience is a plus.
