Job Description
  • This position calls for a highly skilled Sr. Digital Analytics Technical Analyst to perform, help manage the technical strategy and support for the work unit and tools including tag management and digital analytics tools across an enterprise ecosystem of digital environments (web, progressive web apps, mobile apps, devices).
  • Typical tasks include compiling and constructing analytics specification requirements, supporting other technical analysts, integrating, implementing new configurations.
  • The Sr. Digital Analytics Technical Analyst uses automation techniques and creates and maintains standards including configuration, segmentation, user access, data privacy, regression tests, and alerts.
  • The Sr. Digital Analytics Technical Analyst participates and leads process improvement to ensure analytics are a part of development cycles and business delivery.
  • This role will develop strong working relationships with all touchpoints across the data lifecycle and innovate and refine current data structures following best practices.
  • The Sr. Digital Analytics Technical Analyst will play a key role in developing and executing the technical strategy for providing a self-service environment and intake system for Digital Analytics service requests.
  • This position will be responsible for building and maintaining work unit standards, procedures and develop solutions to ensure compliance with data privacy, internal controls and enterprise requirements and practices.
  • The Digital Analytics Technical Analyst will collect, interpret and translate business requirements into technical requirements, build technical specifications and deploy standard and custom tracking.
  • The Sr. analyst may also provide services to identify, create, run and aggregate data from various reporting tools such as Google Analytics 360, BigQuery, and potentially other internal data warehousing systems or tools.
  • This person in this role will design and implement and present training documentation and enterprise webinars on Digital Analytics topics.
  • Tools may include: Ensighten (or other) tag management system, BigQuery, Tableau, Google Analytics 360 , Adobe, or other analytics tools, A/B and multivariate testing tools, call tracking tools, survey technology, Sitecore DMS, mobile app analytics, ObservePoint, debugging tools, etc.
Qualifications
  • Minimum BS/BA in Computer Science, or other technical degree.
  • 5 years of experience with Digital Analytics architecture/tools (tag management systems, Google 360, BigQuery, Adobe, other tools) and implementations.
  • 3 years advanced level experience with web technology (web services, data layers).
  • 3 years of experience with digital analytics analysis, defining KPIs and segmentations.
  • 1 year experience with big data (BigQuery) or other big data technologies.
  • Experience leading implementations and management of a Digital Analytics technology platform/stack.
  • Experience managing the technical work across multiple competing projects.
  • 3 years of experience with SQL, familiarity with visualization tools such as Tableau, Spotfire or QlikView required.
  • Experience with big data configurations, schema, API, data warehouse management tasks.
  • Advanced experience with debugging tools, Sitecore CMS, data layer, HTML, DOM variables, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and developing custom tag solutions through TMS or traditional methods.
  • Must have solid business experience and skills working collaboratively and professionally and have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working in a fast paced deadline oriented environment.
  • Ability to think critically, interpret, and understand requirements in order to build tagging solutions based on market and GBS Web and analytics strategy.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical plans and reporting solutions in order to analyze data, interpret results and recommend solutions to enable teams to make decisions around optimizing or understanding product investments. Keen problem solving abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, ability to work independently, manage multiple projects/responsibilities.
  • High level of proficiency using Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Access, and Outlook. Must be self-motivated.
Knowledge and Additional Considerations
  • Experience integrating a variety of analytics technology such as Google Analytics 360, Invoca, Optimizely, Qualtrics
Licensure/Certification Required
  • Applicants who have digital analytics, TMS, or related IT certifications will have priority over candidates who are not certified digital analytics analysts.
