Job Description

  • Monitors IFS pick, pack and delivery status to ensure products are moving through the system on time and correct.
  • Systematically enters daily shipment tracking information.
  • Organizes and prioritizes daily orders to be picked
  • Sorts picklist to insure proper product is flowing between warehouses
  • Helps maintain proper inventory levels in warehouse
  • Monitors high priority customers and orders to ensure we are meeting delivery expectations
  • Initiates and arranges alternative carrier pick up as needed and appropriate
  • Monitors condition of finished goods in bins
  • Reports damage products to the attention of the Manager immediately
  • Dispatches replenishment order of finished goods to refill bin when bin is at reorder point
  • Prepares or assist with shift transition meetings
  • Identifies barriers and improvement opportunities
  • Keeps work area clean and safe always by maintaining 5S or good housekeeping procedures
  • Keeps updated training logs
  • Promotes and completes problem solving and continuous improvement activities
  • Performs other tasks or projects assigned by Manager     

 

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • 3-5 years’ experience working in a distribution center, warehouse or manufacturing environment
  • Strong leadership skills; able to motivate team
  • Must have strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Must have a positive attitude while maintaining flexibility
  • Able to efficiently manage multiple requests and projects at one time
  • Conscientious, accurate, and detailed-oriented regarding work output
  • Ability to use proper counting, weighing and measuring skills as appropriate
  • Problem Solving – able to perform root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Computer Skills – Excellent computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms
  • Frequently required to stand, sit, and talk or hear
  • Frequently required to walk and stand
  • Ability to climb a ladder
  • Frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
  • Frequently required to push 300 - 400 pounds on average on a rolling cart up an incline
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
