Provide 24X7 monitoring support for enterprise network, compute, and storage systems and applications running thereon.
Manage to completion, lower level alerts. Provide a warm handoff for tickets escalated to Engineering teams.
Install and deploy cabinets and rack mount PDU’s. Install cabinet management systems to include wire managers and patch panels. Performs server hardware rack and stack and OS installs.
Provide configuration support for Enterprise Monitoring Tool (Solar Winds preferred). Enter newly acquired hardware and software into the tool.
Create operational run books and procedural documentation for monitoring and use within the NOC. Contribute to knowledgebase articles.
Create and maintain automation of alerts and automated responses within the tool.
Work with Remedy tool owners to build and maintain integrations points to address automated Incident and Change Management records.
Works with other IT Teams to improve operating efficiency, increasing productivity by applying technology & enhancements to existing processes
Responsible for all activities relating to incidents, problem reporting and change control for assigned projects and work orders.
Works closely with rest of team to meet IT Operations related goals and metrics on a consistent basis.
Ability to backfill for the IT Operations Sys Analyst role to cover PTO/Sick/LOA requests.
This position is part of a 24/7 Operations Center, including after-hours, weekends and holiday coverage. Flexibility in scheduling is required, to meet with staff on various shifts.
Ability to prioritize and execute in high-pressure situations. Remains calm under pressure.
Highly motivated and ability to operate under limited supervision
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory account management.
Broad knowledge of IT services, applications and infrastructure.
Strong computer skills utilizing and supporting MS Office and MS Exchange/Outlook.
Good interpersonal skills in communications with all levels of hospital personnel, vendors and IT staff.
Ability to manage multiple tasks. Solid capabilities working to plan and meeting deadlines.
Willingness to learn and improve. Keeps current on technology through publications, self-education, and seminars on an ongoing basis.
Develop skills in analytical acumen: basic project management capabilities, team work, critical thinking, communication, continuous process improvement

Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is preferred.
Experience with IT Management Software & Monitoring Tools is preferred.
Experience with Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) tools is preferred.
SolarWinds expeirence not required, but must have extensive experience with monitoring softwares.
Candidates with install and scripting experience in SolarWinds will take priority
Education:Associates degree preferred, or combination of education and experience, minimum 5 years.
