Assignment Details 

Job Description:

  • Plans, monitors and manages projects from initiation through to completion. 
  • Utilizes resources, and uses formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks and changes. 
  • Manages projects to ensure it meets the business requirements, internal or external stakeholders are satisfied and it meets the project plans obligations regarding specifications, quality, costs and timeframes.  
    1. Plans, monitors and administers part of a mid-size project to ensure client/internal customer satisfaction. 
    2. Manages projects while being mentored by one of the senior project managers. 
    3. Organizes and utilizes resources and coordinates effectively with stakeholders and colleagues. 
    4. Meets the project plans obligations regarding specifications, quality, costs and timeframes. 
    5. Meets project deadlines through developing effective relationships in order to get things done. 
    6. Has experience in project management delivery utilizing established project management methodology. 
    7. Typically works under supervision to manage projects around systems integration, or product development enhancements. 

Qualifications

 

  • Education required: Degree qualified in Business/Finance or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.

  • Experience Required: 3 to 5 years Certifications: Certification and effectiveness in desktop project management tools including Excel Core Skills & Requirement:

  • Functional knowledge: Requires expanded conceptual knowledge in own discipline and broadens capabilities.

  • Requires some general supervision and/or supervision to apply technical knowledge to our industry/markets.

  • Business expertise: Understands key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work.

  • Leadership: No supervisory responsibilities. Is accountable for developing functional knowledge in order to become a full contributor to the team and its work distribution.

  • Problem solving: Solves problems in straightforward situations; analyzes possible solutions using existing experience, existing standards/ precedents and processes; and will be getting more comfortable using own judgment.

  • Impact: Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team; works within standardised guidelines, procedures and practices and meets deadlines as described by supervisor.

  • Interpersonal skills: Exchanges straightforward information with others; asks questions and checks for understanding. Is being more independent in thought; is starting to challenge why and gets involved in more difficult discussions.

  • Technical Skills & Requirements: Communication: Appropriately limits use of technical jargon, slang or culturally insensitive language when creating written communications.

  • Communicates findings and results of analyses in the appropriate format to ensure understanding.

  • Develops standard reports, presentations and documents for use at the team level.

  • Emotional Intelligence: Interacts with others in ways that are friendly, courteous, and tactful and that demonstrate respect for individual cultural differences and for the attitudes and feelings of others.

  • Demonstrates awareness of how own actions and work style impact others; seeks input on ways to increase versatility.

  • Remains helpful and reliable even under stress; achieves results in spite of negativity or challenges.

  • Innovation and Creativity: Experiments with a variety of techniques (e.g., brainstorming, visualization, collaboration) to generate innovative ideas; questions boundaries.

  • Looks for best practice information within the department to generate new ideas.

  • Questions traditional assumptions and generates creative solutions, remaining open to non-traditional practices.

  • Project Management: Proactively seeks out and utilizes available project management tools and resources to provide input into timing estimates for project components.

  • Develops components of project plans and prioritizes tasks to achieve project milestones. Tracks and monitors multiple aspects of a project simultaneously (e.g., project deadlines, performance to specifications and requirements).

  • Risk Management: Demonstrates understanding of definitions, rules, and techniques of risk management and our Client's OMXs risk exposure and tolerance.
