Position Details 

Job Description:

  • The HR Assistant is responsible for maintaining employee files, scanning files, retrieving records and ensuring the filing system is well organized.  This position provides coverage for front desk reception and back up for data entry.  The HR Assistant is responsible for the HR Care Center which includes receiving all incoming Human Resources requests (e-mail and phone), and responding to or routing employee questions to the appropriate person.  This position also performs general office/Human Resources work.

    Essential Functions:
    • Creates and maintains employee files
    • Retrieve files and documents
    • Fax, photocopy and scan files and documents
    • When covering front desk, answers main company phone, greets guests, and accepts/signs for mail
    • Reviews all incoming e-mail and phone requests; determines course of action for request which may include handling the request or  forwarding to the appropriate person
    • Completes written and verbal verification of employment
    • Provides back-up  for the daily processing of all employee data, troubleshooting & maintenance of data integrity
    • Processes and tracks Bonuses for payment
    • Maintains company organization charts
    • Performs general office work
    o Create and edit Excel, Word and PowerPoint documents
    • Responsible for driving the Satellite Healthcare culture through values and customer service standards
    • Accountable for outstanding customer service to all external and internal customers
    • Develops and maintains effective relationships through effective and timely communication
    • Takes initiative and action to respond, resolve and follow up regarding customer service issues with all customers in a timely manner


Qualifications

  • Minimum Education & Experience:
    • High School diploma/ GED
    • At least one year office experience
    • Human Resources experience preferred

    Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
    • Attention to detail
    • Good organizational skills
    • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Able to handle fast-paced environment
    • Good at following through with tasks
    • Basic Excel, Word and PowerPoint, Visio skills preferred
