Works independently to coordinate assigned processes/programs; e.g. appointment, application, interview, scheduling, pre- and post-matriculation, orientation, and committee support. Serves as a resource and interprets respective department specific policies and procedures to achieve the work. Must be able to handle many activities and challenges simultaneously, with minimal direction. Must use good judgment in facilitating questions, phone calls, meeting scheduling, and other assignments. Serves as a resource and/or trainer for applicable technology systems. Coordinates and maintains specific learner/faculty data (e.g., entering/updating data, preparing reports, etc.). Attends courses and meetings to enhance or improve job knowledge within the role or to represent our Client.
Will be preforming department orientation for new employees, must be comfortable public speaking, reviewing policy and standard practices. Help all employees with selecting benefits on line and setting up direct deposit. Auditing employee files monthly and documenting, assisting the Assistant Supervisor with hands on training ensuring that everyone is following the correct process. Located at both hospital St. Marys and Methodist working 7:30 am when perform department orientation and other start times of 8:00 am. till 4:30 pm Part time working 4-8 hour shift Monday -Thursday. Developing some training materials. Will be working between 24-32 hours per week.
High School diploma Five years of successful administrative assistant, business or education related experience 1 year administrative assistant, business or education related experience
Training and Education of new employees and temporary employees. Speaking in front of other, explaining and sharing information. Strong organizational skills, be able to work independently, attention to detail. Microsoft skills would be nice.
