Job Description
  • This is a hybrid position that will serve in two capacities; the ideal candidate for this position will act as a Coordinator and Health Educator role for the center.
  • This candidate is sitting in a very high incoming traffic location and must have excellent rapport with walk in members.
  • This location hosts group meetings and this Coordinator will be responsible for the set up and break down of the meeting rooms with chairs and fold up tables.
  • Receives calls at establishment, determines nature of business, and directs calls to destination.
  • Answering phones, Greeting and directing guests, Performing security checks, and Opening and distributing mail, typing memos, letters, reports
  • Scheduling and coordinating meetings
  • Candidate must have excellent telephone skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be professional in appearance and have a friendly disposition.
  • Flexibility and team oriented; ability to work efficiently in a high pressure environment.
Health Educator role
  • Facilitate health education programs in English to Humana Medicare members and public in assigned local Humana Guidance Centers and communities, Utilizing internal systems to process visitors, triage center visitors to appropriate channel of service/need, assist in coordinating monthly calendar of events, organize and facilitate assigned events (health and wellness, nutrition, social), set-up and break down chairs/tables/decor for events, consult with individuals to understand their Health and Wellness needs and provide available resources to them, assess learning needs and motivate individuals to make healthy changes through all available interactions, collaborate to outline monthly activities in the assigned Guidance Centers, assess learning needs and motivate individuals to make healthy changes through all available interactions, participate in ongoing content training sessions to learn new Health Education class content, travel in assigned communities to facilitate and/or attend Health Education events, quickly develop and maintain participant rapport in all interactions, communicate program data and participant feedback to Manager via detailed reporting, problem-solve and develop effective solutions within a fast-paced, matrixed environment, organizing and manage multiple priorities and/or projects by using appropriate methodologies and tools, develop, grow and foster collaborative relationships with internal and external partners 
Qualifications

Role Desirables
  • CHES/MCHES certification, or the ability to obtain certification, based upon relevant education
  • Bi-lingual English / Spanish
