Job Description
  • Conducts a consultative in-take session with the hiring manager to set expectations and the evaluation plan for the recruiting process, create targeted candidate profile, develop sourcing strategy and establish desired communication protocol with the hiring manager
  • Acts as a consulting partner to hiring manager throughout recruitment life cycle
  • Uses a variety of standard and specialized sourcing techniques to attract a pool of qualified candidates
  • Manage evaluation process incorporating behavioral interviews and validated assessment tools as needed to identify final candidate pool
  • Extends and negotiates the offer package
  • Works with Recruitment Coordinator to initiate onboarding process and transition candidate to new employee
  • Plays a key role in college recruitment as well as diversity recruitment initiatives
  • Enter all applicant flow and recruiting information in TALEO (Applicant Tracking System) to ensure applicant status is up to date at all times

 

 

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years corporate recruiting experience including at least two years recruiting for technology talent
  • Demonstrated expertise in using standard sourcing tools (corporate websites, general job boards, professional associations, agencies, social media and networking, career fairs, employee referrals) to proactively build candidate pipelines that generate sufficient quantity and quality of candidates to meet business requirements in a cost effective manner
  • Demonstrated assessment skills in effectively evaluating candidates (training in behavioral event or competency based interviewing a plus)
  • Strong communication skills (written and oral) and customer centric approach is essential
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage and produce results with a workload of up to 25 open positions at any given time
  • Effective consulting skills in working with business partners in setting recruiting expectations, developing an effective sourcing strategy, evaluating candidates and providing competitive market analysis
  • Ability to use technology effectively and efficiently to manage workload. Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems required; working knowledge of Taleo is a plus, Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and ability to create documents, reports and briefing materials in Microsoft Office Word and Excel
  • Strong result orientation and comfort level in working in a high performance, metrics-driven recruiting environment
  • Working knowledge of employment law and compliance requirements
