Job Description

  • Assisting in customer communication and customer engagement for smart charging projects, including
  • Lead efforts to engage participants in our Client's smart charging pilot in California
  • Developing and implement an outreach strategy for each phase of the smart charging pilot
  • Supporting the enrollment/registration of our Client's drivers in smart charging programs
  • Understanding the goal and rules of our Client's smart charging programs
  • Developing communication materials to support the outreach/marketing strategy for these programs
  • Supporting communication with program participants to help them understand the goals of the program
  • Develop web tools, phone app elements, and other communication tools that support the goals of the smart charging pilot
  • Assist in research and analysis for the smart charging pilot, including:
  • Using Excel, SQL and other software tools to evaluate various data, including vehicle telematics data, smart charging data, meter data and other sources collected in the pilot
  • Develop survey instruments and help develop focus group research plans
  • Proactively identify relevant research topics and identify data and analytical tools used to explore these areas
  • Coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders to achieve the research objectives of the pilot project
  • Manage all administrative aspects of the CEC Charge Forward grant, including:
  • Managing project budget by tracking past expenses and future cost commitments
  • Coordinate with project subcontractors to manage and submit grant reimbursement expenses
  • Coordinate with partners to ensure that all reporting requirements are met in a timely fashion
  • Manage monthly reporting to internal and external stakeholders, including grant-making agencies
  • Coordinate with the Product Manager, Customer Outreach Lead, and other BClient staff (internal and external) involved in this project
  • Support the team in identifying new ways to engage customers in the programs and opportunities for new efficiencies that reduce cost and time associated with customer engagement and customer recruitment
  • Assist in identifying new techniques to accomplish research goals, including data collection strategies and analytical methods
  • Purpose and subject of the interaction/communication with internal/external interfaces, negotiating mandate.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage parties with potentially conflicting interests
  • Experience in managing product launch and customer engagement initiatives
  • Distinctive sense for new business opportunities and realistic approach to new product ideas and programs
  • Strong communication skills (presentation to internal stakeholders, sr. management, press/media, employees, dealers, customers)
  • Pragmatic, focused and result-oriented working approach
  • Foster close relationship with our Client’s Energy team to ensure a consistent sales approach and to achieve sales targets

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • Work experience, Leadership experience
  • One or more of the following:
  • 1 or more years of experience in project management
  • 1 or more years of experience in marketing 
  • 1 or more years of experience in project budgeting
  • 1 or more years of experience in academic or private sector research
  • Energetic and self-motivated
  • Excellent presentation/communication skills (written and verbal) with ability to effectively convey overall goals, sell ideas, programs, products, etc.
  • Strong sales and marketing background
  • Adaptive to changing market conditions, targets, goals, similar to that of startup environment
  • Experience using Excel, Microsoft Project, SQL and other software to manage and analyze data
