Job Description:
  • Days and rotating weekends, need to take call and will need to work some holidays - 4 10 hour shifts Responsible for administering nuclear radiopharmaceuticals for studies performed in clinic
  • Order radiopharmaceuticals from choice vendor
  • Conducts imaging of patients
  • Develops all studies
  • Identify questionable studies on written notification for stat reading
  • Conducts radiation safety training of all office staff
  • Develops policies and procedures for nuclear and for the office to meet and maintain ACR accreditation
  • Maintain accurate records
  • Manages and keeps records of radiation safety badges
  • Displays proper etiquette and mannerisms that reflect the Service Standard Behavior Guidelines
  • Promotes the Patient Safety Standards as a core value of the organization.
  • Transports patients
  • Participates in office and hospital wide informational meetings and inservices, including staff meetings, hospital wide forums, and seminars
  • Reviews office policies and procedures annually
  • Recurring work situations with occasional variations from the norm
  • A high level of complexity
  • Typical operation from established and well-known procedures
  • Performance of duties under independently-minimal supervision

 

Qualifications:

 
  • 5 years of experience -GE Hawkeye and xeleris - D-spect - Biodose - Mckesson venipucture and iv skills are important ability to function independently
  • Working knowledge of nuclear pharmacy would be a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • BLS/CPR
  • ACLS
  • PALS
  • NRP
