Responsible for the preparation and cooking of food prepared during assigned shift using established procedures and sanitary regulations. Maintains cleanliness of work area and all articles used. Minimum one year of experience in an institutional food service environment. Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions in the English language. Maricopa County Food Service Worker license required. High School Diploma or GED required.
Specific Job Details:
- Preparing and serving hot and cold entrees in hospital cafeteria employees and guests.
- Extremely high volume.
- Must have cooking experience in a high volume establishment.
- Must be able to read recipes. Must possess knife skills and be familiar with kitchen equipment i.e. slicers, food processors, ovens.
- Must be able to work at least 2 weekends per month and be able to work both AM and PM shift and they have to be available between 6:00 am start time to 1:00 pm start time and work 8 hour shifts, the schedule will be created a month in advance.
